This classic Hamptons house was partially renovated to serve as a beach home for a New York City family. The main level was reworked to create an open, bright, and light-filled space with beautiful exterior views. The kitchen was relocated to the front of the home on axis with the dining room and primary living area. Full height sliding glass doors were installed around the living area to maximize views to the rear yard. The stair was rebuilt to complement the modern design and reinforce its openness. Upstairs, the primary bathroom was gut renovated to create a serene, spa-like space.
